Job Summary:

Securiguard is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Guard to join our team in a Gatehouse position. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our site by conducting regular patrols, inspecting vehicles, and responding to emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular foot patrols of the site to identify and mitigate potential security risks
  • Inspect vehicles entering and exiting the site to ensure compliance with security protocols
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents in a timely and professional manner
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for reporting and dealing with incidents
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive relationship with site visitors
  • Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property and investigating

Requirements:

  • Valid Security Guard Licence
  • Valid Ontario Driver's Licence
  • Valid First Aid / CPR certificate
  • Ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to complete daily logs and write detailed reports
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must have own transportation to and from work location
