Occupational Therapist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with clients to help them achieve their goals and regain independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical and cognitive functioning
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' needs
  • Provide education and training to clients on topics such as safe body mechanics and cognitive behavioral strategies
  • Support return-to-work programs and provide accommodation recommendations
  • Collaborate with the inter-professional team to ensure seamless care
Requirements:
  • Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
  • Previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
