At Farm Credit Canada, we're seeking an experienced leader to drive operational resiliency risk management and crisis response.

Salary Range:

$148,902 - $201,456

This role offers a competitive salary, plus eligibility for a performance-based incentive.

About the Role:

We're looking for a senior director with expertise in crisis and risk management to provide strategic guidance and challenge our organization's approach.

  • Establish strategies and practices to manage risk response and crisis operations effectively.
  • Oversee risk assessment and response protocols to ensure seamless execution.
  • Lead operations in a crisis operations centre as needed, leveraging your leadership skills to drive results.
  • Partner across the organization to assess and influence risk decisions, providing informed guidance.
  • Prepare Farm Credit Canada to manage through crisis situations, including Business Continuity Management (BCM) program development.
  • Provide insight on governance, risk, and compliance by utilizing best practices, driving continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, economics, or business administration, and at least 15 years of progressive and related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, etc.) or risk certification (CRM), demonstrating specialized knowledge.
  • In-depth understanding of risk management practices in financial institutions, with a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategy development, with the ability to create and implement effective plans.
