Senior Accounting Professional

As a Senior Accountant at Vaco, you will play a crucial role in preparing and reviewing financial statements, as well as participating in fieldwork for reviews and audits. Your expertise will be essential in creating and updating review/compilation plans for clients, and in preparing year-end financial statements and working papers. You will also be responsible for preparing corporate/personal tax returns, including Trust and Not-for-Profit returns, and meeting with clients to discuss year-end results or arising issues. Additionally, you will be responsible for answering client queries, supervising team members, and reviewing and overseeing e-filing of personal tax returns. Your strong communication skills and ability to train clients on accounting software and processes will be valuable assets to our team.
About You
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant who is a CPA or has equivalent designations. You should have at least 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, specifically preparing financial statements and corporate tax returns. Your advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookups, will be essential in this role. Public accounting experience is highly favored, and experience with Tax Prep is also desirable.
