About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Painter Assistant at City Painting Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting our painters with various tasks on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, such as paint, tools, and equipment, from vehicles to the construction site.
  • Erecting and Dismantling Forms and Scaffolding: Help to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mixing and Applying Materials: Assist in mixing and applying materials such as concrete and asphalt, and cleaning up any spills or messes.
  • Removing Debris and Rubble: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, and assist in cleaning up the site.
  • Preparing Surfaces: Prepare surfaces to be painted by cleaning and sanding them.
  • Mixing Paint: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and assist in applying it to surfaces.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: This role requires a high level of physical fitness, as you will be working on construction sites and lifting heavy materials.
  • Team Player: You must be a team player and able to work effectively with our painters and other construction team members.
  • Flexibility: You must be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances on the construction site.
