**About the Role**

BrightPath Kids Canada is seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Assistant to join our team at Oakville, ON.

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive hourly rate and government wage enhancement for eligible staff.

As an Early Childhood Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced RECEs to provide a nurturing environment for children in our care.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist RECEs with instruction and activities in the classroom.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Interact with children to encourage their participation in activities.
  • Establish positive relationships with colleagues, management, and families.
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as needed.
  • Contribute to the cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.

**Requirements**

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Early Childhood Assistant Certification preferred.
  • Meet the province's requirements for childcare employment.
  • Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR certification.
  • Current immunization and health assessment as per local Minister of Health requirements.
  • Experience in planning and implementing programs.
