About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Technology Officer to join our team at Next Power Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's technology strategy and direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technology Strategy and Planning
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives
    • Identify and prioritize technology initiatives to drive business growth and innovation
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of technology professionals to deliver high-quality solutions and services
    • Develop and implement effective leadership and management practices to drive team performance and engagement
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment on technology initiatives
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, customers, and partners
  • Security and Risk Management
    • Develop and implement effective security and risk management practices to protect the company's assets and reputation
    • Identify and mitigate potential security risks and threats
  • Financial Management
    • Develop and manage the technology budget to ensure effective resource allocation and utilization
    • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize technology spend
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior technology leadership role
    • Proven track record of delivering high-quality technology solutions and services
  • Skills
    • Strong technical skills in areas such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics
    • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
