About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at S&R Insulation Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our insulation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Site Preparation: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Tool Operation: Utilize hand and power tools to perform various tasks, including cutting, drilling, and measuring.
  • Task Execution: Read and interpret specifications, follow verbal instructions, and perform general labouring duties as required.
  • Assistance to Skilled Tradespersons: Assist skilled tradespersons with tasks such as insulation installation and other related activities.
  • Emergency and Safety Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Familiarity with hand tools and a willingness to learn and operate power tools.
  • Transportation and Travel: Willingness to travel regularly to job sites.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, standing for extended periods, and walking on uneven terrain.
