Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Batching and Dispatcher to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the batching and dispatch of concrete meets laboratory specifications while meeting client needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure daily batching and dispatch of concrete meets laboratory specifications and client needs.
  • Dispatch and schedule concrete mixer trucks to ensure timely delivery of concrete and good customer service.
  • Conduct daily site safety checks and ensure all employees are working safely and wearing PPE.
  • Perform regular inspections to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Order raw materials according to client orders and expected demand.
  • Plan schedules for drivers and yardmen regarding deliveries and next day's production.
  • Enter receipts of raw materials into the Command Batch system and track inventory.
  • Produce end-of-day reports and relay information to the next shift as needed.
  • Conduct physical inventories with the director at the end of each month.
Requirements
  • Collegial degree in civil engineering (Technician) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience in batching concrete and dispatching concrete mixer trucks.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good knowledge of construction materials and concrete.
