Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Controller to join our team at Alstom in Toronto, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing finance and accounting processes, managing site controlling activities, and providing financial support to the GO Expansion project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Alstom's finance and accounting processes for the Toronto GO Expansion site.
  • Manage site controlling and accounting activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash planning.
  • Coordinate with the Business and tools project manager to roll out SAP GSI (Alstom's ERP).
  • Validate financial data provided by site functions and provide accurate information to stakeholders.
  • Prepare periodic cash flow forecasts and analyze under/over recovery of the site.
Accounting, Reporting, and Audit
  • Perform cash planning and Account Receivable related activities.
  • Support internal control campaigns and external audit activities.
  • Reconcile invoicing and actual costs.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • MBA or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and working knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Project accounting experience and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with French is an asset.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $110,000-$130,000 per year, depending on experience. As a global business, Alstom offers competitive compensation and benefits packages to its employees.
