Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team at Indian Courtyard Restaurant. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be responsible for assisting our kitchen staff with food preparation, cleaning, and maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities- Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
- Help with cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
- Package take-out food and portion and wrap foods for service.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sharpen kitchen knives as needed.
- Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- 40 hours per week.
- Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
