About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Engineering Analyst/Engineer-Design Support-Mechanical to support engineering roles for nuclear projects in major areas, such as new builds including SMR in the province of Ontario, international new builds, refurbishment, and continuous plant operation support modifications for nuclear generating power plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in development and preparation of engineering procurement support deliverables (e.g., equipment and component specifications, calculations, bill of materials (BOMs), technical assessments, vendor document evaluations, etc.) for both nuclear and conventional systems in accordance with AtkinsRéalis / Candu Energy Quality Assurance Programs and project requirements.
  • Perform engineering work related to specification, assessment, and manufacturing and/or supply of mechanical components to meet the needs of New Build Nuclear Power Plants.
  • Provide technical support to engineering stakeholders to determine the cost, quality, and availability of equipment and components.
  • Review and accept Manufacturer's documentation (Procedures, Inspection and Test Plans, Non-Conformances, and/or Design Deviation Requests) and obtain client acceptance, as required.
  • Prepare and/or review Engineering Quotation Request Packages and Technical Tender Evaluations.
  • Prepare and/or review technical reports for client acceptance.
