Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Eastside Food Store Ltd. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive excellent service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to ensure that our store is always fully stocked and that we are not overstocked or understocked.
  • Authorize the return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise with customers or suppliers.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that our store is properly staffed at all times.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help us make informed business decisions.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and ensuring that our store is always clean and organized.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our sales workers, including providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Manage cash and ensure that our store is always properly secured.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and to stand for long periods of time.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
