The Opportunity

Maple Leaf Foods is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead our finance team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and oversight to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of finance professionals in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and other financial analyses.
  • Develop and implement financial planning and analysis processes to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvements and implement solutions.
  • Ensure effective internal controls and risk management practices are in place.
  • Partner with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
Requirements
  • CPA designation and 7+ years of progressive finance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and public company reporting.
  • Proven leadership and coaching skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
