Job Description:


As a part-time Cashier at the Orchards Food Store, you will provide exceptional customer service, process transactions efficiently, handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, and contribute to a team environment by assisting in other areas as required.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide high level customer service
  • Process transactions in a timely manner
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions
  • Bag customer groceries
  • Complete returns and exchanges according to company policy
  • Stock and clean front-end merchandising areas
  • Reconcile tills following established procedures
  • Provide information on memberships and sales
  • Contribute to a team environment


Requirements:



  • High School Diploma
  • Previous retail experience
  • Cash handling experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Intermediate computer skills

Salary Estimate: $18-$22 per hour, based on location and experience.
