Occupational Therapist

A Multidisciplinary Rehabilitation Specialist is required to join the rehabilitation team at Southern Health-Santé Sud. Reporting to the Client Services Manager, this position involves participating in the planning, delivery and evaluation of rehabilitation services for children and adult populations.
About Us:
Shared Health leads the planning and coordination of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. We deliver province-wide health services and support centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Responsibilities:
This role will involve assessing clients, providing direct intervention, consultation, public education and training within various settings including acute care, outpatient, long term care, client's home, school and community settings. You will also supervise clinics and train students/provisional members and participate in educating other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
We are seeking an individual with a Master's Degree or equivalent entry-level requirement in Occupational Therapy. You must be actively registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba (COTM) and eligible for membership with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. Proficiency in Microsoft office applications and email/outlook is essential, as well as effective communication and decision-making skills.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional working relationships and work both independently and as part of a team. Bilingualism (English/French) is not mandatory but desirable. Good attendance record is expected. A satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, Adult Abuse Registry Check, and Child Abuse Registry Check are necessary conditions of employment.
Salary and Benefits:
This position comes with a competitive salary range of $92,500 - $116,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
