About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Saw San Elzein. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Exercise and Mobility: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical mobility and health.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Work Setting: Work in the client's home, with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Work Conditions: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and repetitive tasks.
