We are seeking an experienced Accounting Operations Assistant to join our team at Akshar Accounting & Bookkeeping Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our accounting team, including training workers in duties and policies, preparing and submitting reports, and ensuring the smooth operation of equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, including financial reports, to management and other stakeholders.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of equipment, including computers, printers, and other office machinery.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Financial Transactions: Ensure the accuracy of financial transactions, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Work Coordination: Co-ordinate, assign, and review work, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, as needed.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work, as required.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
Supervision and Leadership
  • Team Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance, support, and direction as needed.
Computer and Technology Skills
  • Microsoft Office: Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Attention to detail, large caseload, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliable, and a team player.
