About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Client Service Assistant to join our team at BMO Financial Group. As a key member of our Wealth Sales and Service team, you will play a critical role in supporting the branch and/or region in achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client documentation for correspondence and set-up, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on business objectives, fostering strong relationships and driving results.
  • Supervise day-to-day operational activities, coordinating the workflow of less-experienced staff and ensuring seamless execution.
  • Organize and maintain records of office activities and business transactions, administering a filing system to ensure easy access to reports, forms, and documentation.
  • Create, maintain, and enter information into databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Assist with the coordination and processing of work orders for equipment warranties, maintenance, and repairs, communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and order, ensuring a well-stocked and efficient workspace.
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate meeting facilities and set-up, ensuring a seamless experience for all parties involved.
  • Liaise with internal and external partners to coordinate changes to premises, minimizing disruptions to business operations.
  • Identify and escalate all irregularities and discrepancies to management, ensuring prompt resolution and compliance.
  • Perform various operational activities to meet business objectives, client needs, and maintain overall service levels, providing exceptional support to the team.
  • Provide administrative/operational support, including financial and transactional processing, account processing and documentation, compliance processing, and other related activities, ensuring proper documentation and administration of decisions.
  • Meet high-quality service standards to maximize relationship retention and growth, delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Follow through on risk and compliance processes and policies, ensuring the safeguarding of customers' assets, maintaining their privacy, acting in their best interests, and ensuring an effectively run function.
  • Protect the Bank's assets and comply with all regulatory, legal, and ethical requirements, upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
  • Complete complex and diverse tasks within given rules and limits, analyzing issues and determining next steps, escalating as required.
  • Broaden work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed, providing opportunities for growth and development.

Please note that this role may be eligible for a monthly discretionary bonus, and you may be entitled to additional discretionary compensation as part of the Investment Advisors portfolio.

Qualifications
  • Typically between 2-3 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic specialized knowledge.
  • Verbal and written communication skills - Good.
  • Organization skills - Good.
  • Collaboration and team skills - Good.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills - Good.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is $38,000, and you may be eligible for a monthly discretionary bonus. The salary will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role.

BMO Financial Group's total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
