We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our IT Services team at the City of New Westminster. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving our HR, Payroll, and Finance systems, including Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, UKG Workforce Central, Vertex, and Taleo.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain reports and applications using various tools, including JDE Design Tools, BI Publisher, Crystal Reports, and SSRS.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot interfaces between systems using SQL and proprietary vendor tools.
- Manage user accounts and security.
- Provide technical support to business users on related applications.
- Configure existing system functionality to meet business requirements.
- Research and enable new system functionality.
- Install software updates and make necessary technical adjustments.
- Perform Microsoft SQL database administration.
- Perform data refreshes, create queries, and update, import, and export data.
- Work with vendors and their support channels to meet business requirements.
- Perform routine system admin tasks.
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in an IT Systems related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in an IT department as an HR/Finance/Payroll technical/systems analyst related position.
- Experience with a Canadian payroll system in a technical/systems analyst related position.
- Must be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident.
- Must pass a Police Information Check.
- Oracle JDE EnterpriseOne technical administration.
- Microsoft SQL administration and development.
- UKG Workforce Central technical administration.
- Microsoft Server administration.
- Oracle Taleo technical administration.
- Ability to act as a primary IT system owner and provide technical support.
- Ability to provide advice and recommendations on technical matters.
- Ability to define, analyze, and document business systems processes.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to document, analyze, and assess information.
- Ability to analyze and evaluate data and information.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
