Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Kookjae Sikdang. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock levels to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute special events and menus.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience as a chef or in a related culinary role.
  • Proven track record of leading a kitchen team and achieving high-quality results.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and train kitchen staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced kitchen environment with high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Standing for extended periods and ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication in the kitchen.
Work Schedule:
  • 30-40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts.
