About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join BMO's Currency Management team as a Senior IT Currency Governance Analyst. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in maintaining, monitoring, and strengthening governance processes and frameworks related to IT Asset lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to ensure that process design reflects current business strategy and business/stakeholder requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Identifying emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making
  • Determining business priorities and best sequence for execution of business/group strategy
  • Conducting independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues
  • Supporting the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Building effective relationships and collaborating with internal/external stakeholders
  • Ensuring alignment between stakeholders
  • Developing and documenting processes, procedures, etc. and/or end-user materials
  • Assisting with training and transition of processes and tools/templates to appropriate process owners
  • Representing the governance structure during internal/external regulatory audits and/or examinations
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience
  • Self-starting and resourceful individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders
