Job Summary:

The CCTS-CPRST is seeking a highly skilled Complaints Resolution Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in resolving telecommunications and television complaints in a fair and impartial manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with disputing parties to attempt to mediate a successful resolution
  • Investigate complaints and recommend appropriate solutions based on the facts of the complaint
  • Escalate complaints to Investigations when necessary
  • Administer Codes of Conduct to complaints, as applicable
  • Support other departments on special projects and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Minimum Grade 12 high school diploma, or equivalent (post-secondary education in a related field strongly preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience handling complaints or in a dispute resolution environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience working in the telecommunications industry is an asset
  • Previous experience using mediation techniques and dispute resolution best practices
  • Bilingualism (French/English) strongly preferred
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Outlook skills
