About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Technology Specialist to join our team at Fintech Innovation Canada Inc. as a key member of our IT department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Management: Meet with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise staff or team members to ensure efficient project delivery and high-quality results.
  • Technical Expertise: Supervise technical staff and provide guidance on software development, testing, and integration.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and maintain progress reports, as well as other relevant documentation, to track project performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Operational Management: Establish work schedules and plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Software Development: Write, modify, integrate, and test software code to meet project requirements and ensure high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in software development, project management, and team leadership.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS SQL Server and other relevant technologies.
  • Work Environment: Permanent position, working 40 hours per week, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: English language proficiency is required.
