Insurance Brokerage Team Lead

At HUB International Canada West ULC, we're seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Team Lead. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for motivating, coaching, and encouraging employees to achieve their highest performance potential.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a dynamic individual with a minimum of 5 years of insurance brokerage experience and 2 years of leadership experience. You'll be responsible for providing a positive work environment, supporting the team in achieving their goals, and ensuring daily service commitments are met.
Responsibilities
- Provide a positive work environment that attracts, retains, and motivates talent.
- Support the team in achieving their highest performance potential.
- Responsible for assisting branch manager (or overseeing objectives in absence of management onsite) and ensuring that daily service commitments are met.
- Able to answer client and associate questions, handle service/call escalations, answer phone inquiries, complete special projects, train new hires, and assist in creating processes.
- Maintains necessary relationship with employees to ensure quality service standards are met.
- Utilize most current centralized reference tools to help make decisions or follow appropriate commercial lines procedures.
- Other job responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years insurance brokerage experience, with minimum 2 years leadership experience.
- Level 2 General Insurance License and an industry designation (CAIB, CIP, FCIP, CRM).
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail and accuracy.
