We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professor to teach statistics courses on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics and a proven track record of teaching and research.
Responsibilities
- Teach statistics courses to undergraduate and graduate students
- Develop and implement curriculum for statistics courses
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Stay current with developments in statistics and incorporate new methods and techniques into teaching
Requirements
- Master's degree in statistics or a related field
- PhD in statistics or a related field (preferred)
- Recent professional experience in statistics
- Teaching experience in statistics
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with statistical software tools
- Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques
- Ability to communicate complex statistical concepts to students
