Garry Machine MFG. is seeking a skilled Welding Fabricator to join our team. As a Welding Fabricator, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and examining welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.

The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding and metalworking. You will be required to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes, as well as operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and hoisting and lifting equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret welding process specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment

Work Environment:

The Welding Fabricator will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a team of experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding and metalworking
  • Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
  • Ability to operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment and hoisting and lifting equipment

Work Term: Permanent

Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week
