About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Airport Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Airport Security Services. As a Pre-Board Screening Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers and airport staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screening and Security: Efficiently screen passengers and baggage through airport security checkpoints, using X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other technology, as well as physical search techniques.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Uphold all regulations with vigilance, ensuring that all security protocols are followed and maintained.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service skills to passengers, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with other security personnel and airport staff to ensure a smooth and secure airport experience.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay up-to-date on the latest security protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Language Skills: Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal; fluency in French is an asset
  • Availability: Open availability to work any shift as required by the airport operations, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays
  • Background Check: Ability to comply with the CATSA medical requirements and undergo a Transport Security Clearance (TSC) background check
