Job Title: Counter Sales

We are seeking a highly skilled Counter Sales professional to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a Counter Sales representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service and sales support to clients
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels, replenish inventory, and organize the sales floor
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions to effectively recommend solutions to customers
  • Address and resolve customer concerns, returns, and warranty claims promptly
  • Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and year-end inventory counts
  • Support the sales team in resolving warranty return issues and investigating inventory discrepancies
  • Develop training resources for showroom, warehouse operations, and inventory control
  • Ensure compliance with inventory control SOPs and serve as the main contact for inventory-related matters
  • Perform daily shipping, receiving, and administrative tasks safely and accurately
  • Follow health and safety policies and monitor customer service concerns
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required
  • Experience in counter sales or customer service is an asset
  • Ability to learn and retain product knowledge to assist customers effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills for addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, balancing sales and warehouse duties
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Basic proficiency in reading and writing in English
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong active listening skills
