About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Representative to join our team at Accoravillage. As an Accounts Payable Representative, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Accounts Payable function, including processing invoices, maintaining controls, and documenting policy and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit and confirm all invoices and expenses to ensure proper coding, approvals, and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Input vendor invoices and employee expense reports into our finance system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and process cheques and direct deposit files for vendor payments.
  • Mail out and file all cheques and direct deposits for vendors.
  • Download and export banking information from Royal Bank, including e-commerce activities.
  • Verify cashed cheques processed through our various Royal Bank accounts.
  • Conduct weekly transfers of funds between Accoravillage's various Royal Bank accounts.
  • Prepare journal entries and month-end account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.
  • Process GST/HST/QST returns and payments monthly.
  • Perform other duties as required, including testing and ad hoc projects.
Requirements
  • Accounting certificate or diploma an asset.
  • 2 years of AP experience.
  • Knowledge of accounting software packages, preferably CONCUR, EPICOR, and Paystation.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce banking applications, e.g., AP link.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • General accounting skills and attention to detail.
  • General knowledge of GST/HST/QST tax rules.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
