Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and physically fit Ground Worker to join our team at Genics Inc. in Kingston, NS. As a Ground Worker, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to ground maintenance, including moving tools and equipment, holding stakes during surveying activities, and signaling safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
Responsibilities- Move tools, equipment, and other materials
- Hold stakes during surveying activities
- Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public
- Perform miscellaneous laboring activities to help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
- Clean machines and immediate work areas
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Experience in a similar role or industry
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols
