We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at Premier Auto Centre.

The successful candidate will be responsible for adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, inspecting and testing mechanical units, and providing customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Test automotive systems and components
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust units to specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements

Work Environment: The role requires working in a dusty, dirty, and noisy work site environment.

Physical Capabilities: The position demands standing for extended periods and attention to detail.

Language and Work Schedule: English language is required, with a 30 hour per week schedule.

Experience: While experience is an asset, we welcome applicants from various backgrounds, with the opportunity to grow as a permanent member of our team.

Compensation: We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
