Senior Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team at S.i. Systems. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support for our GCMS/eServices Portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and Troubleshoot: Exception logs on Apache Web Servers running on Linux and Tomcat application servers running MS Windows.
- System Performance Analysis: Analyze system performance and errors, and recommend improvements for Java solutions hosted on Apache web servers running on Linux and Tomcat application servers running on MS Windows.
- Database Error Resolution: Monitor database errors for production problems and interface errors.
- Software Maintenance: Install, monitor, upgrade, and maintain software.
- Collaboration: Work with business analysts, project managers, developers, and clients/stakeholders to maintain and improve software performance.
- Problem Solving: Apply problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Knowledge Transfer: Provide advice to co-workers and managers for knowledge transfer.
- Reporting: Provide briefings and status reports to management.
- Documentation: Develop build books and installation documents.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems administration, with experience in Java, Linux, and Windows environments. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are essential for this role.
