Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at THRIVE AUTO COLLISION. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our workspace, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Cleaning and Disinfecting: Clean and disinfect bathrooms, fixtures, and other high-touch areas to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and ensure that all areas are kept clean and free of debris.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster, providing a welcoming work environment and opportunities for growth and development.
  • Support for Youths: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
