Job Title: Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at BC LTD. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the management team and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting the management team in the day-to-day operations of the business. This includes balancing cash and completing balance sheets, conducting performance reviews, and enforcing provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the implementation of operational procedures and determine the type of services to be offered.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, and negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation, and lead/instruct individuals as needed.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns, and provide customer service.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working in a physically demanding environment.
