Job Summary
We are seeking a Family Practitioner to join our team at the Vancouver Island Regional Correctional Centre. As a Family Practitioner, you will provide primary health care services to clients in correctional centres, working alongside other healthcare experts to provide quality care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary health care services to clients in correctional centres
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address mental health and addiction challenges
Requirements
- Eligible for provisional or full licensure with CPSBC
- Certification with the College of Family Physicians, or equivalent, is mandatory
- Experience in working with patients with mental health and addiction challenges
