As a Post-Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with instructors to assist in the preparation and administration of examinations, conduct laboratory sessions, and compile research results.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation and administration of examinations, ensuring accuracy and fairness.
- Conduct laboratory sessions to supplement lectures, promoting hands-on learning and engagement.
- Compile research results, analyzing data and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Grade examinations, term papers, and laboratory reports, providing constructive feedback to students.
- Lead discussion groups and seminars, fostering critical thinking and collaboration among students.
- Organize reference materials, visual aids, and other materials as required by instructors, ensuring a well-structured and accessible learning environment.
- Process files and paperwork, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with college policies.
- College/CEGEP education.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work in an urban area.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in English.
