About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at JMS Security Ltd. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Accounting Systems: Maintain and update accounting systems, including manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
