Business Analyst Job Description

Foicon is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improvement by analyzing business needs and developing solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Analysis: Gather and document business requirements, ensuring that deliverables produced by the development effort conform to business requirements.
  • Business Problem-Solving: Assess clients' business problems/opportunities and document business requirements in a way that technology solutions can be determined.
  • Risk Management: Identify and quantify risks relevant to business and systems requirements delivery timelines and quality.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison for cross-functional teams, including vendors and business partners.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and communicate various aspects of the project, including producing status reports, meeting minutes, issue logs, and informing cross-functional teams of decisions and progress.
Requirements:
  • Business Analytical Skills: Strong business analytical skills, including the ability to gather and document business requirements, assess business problems/opportunities, and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including vendors and business partners.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills, including the ability to coordinate and communicate project activities, produce status reports, and inform cross-functional teams of decisions and progress.
