About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Motor Systems Technician to join our team at DREAMAIR HEATING AND COOLING INC. As an Electrical Motor Systems Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Testing and Maintenance: Test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment to identify potential issues and perform repairs as needed.
  • Component Replacement and Repair: Replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators, and other components to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Welding and Brazing: Perform welding and brazing tasks to repair or modify equipment components.
  • Balance and Testing: Perform static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotors to ensure smooth equipment operation.
  • Quality Assurance: Test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear, or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance and functionality.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in electrical equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.
