About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at Dicam Landscaping Inc. As a key member of our landscaping crew, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to landscape construction, maintenance, and upkeep.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod, seeding, and planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain their health and appearance.
  • Cut grass and rake and collect refuse to keep our outdoor spaces clean and tidy.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
  • Apply fertilizers and insecticides as required to protect our plants and lawns.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
  • Assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants to maintain their shape and promote healthy growth.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail to ensure quality work.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. You will be required to lift heavy loads, work at heights, and operate heavy machinery.
