The RoleWe're seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Enterprise Core Services practice. As a key member of our team, you'll provide high-value services to our clients, helping them navigate complex accounting issues and achieve transparency across their operations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct compilation and review engagements with precision and attention to detail.
- Prepare year-end adjusting entries and bookkeeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Lead the preparation of corporate, personal, and other tax returns, leveraging your expertise to optimize results.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support.
- Perform in-depth analysis of complex accounting issues, applying your knowledge and expertise to drive informed decision-making.
- Accounting or business degree or diploma.
- 2-3 years of post-graduate experience with a public accounting firm.
- General understanding of the Accounting Cycle, General Ledgers, and Account Posting.
- Excellent project management, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Experience with ASPE and accounting and tax software.
- Effective project monitoring and management skills.
- Excellent client service skills and a strong aptitude for understanding client needs.
- Dedication to achieving high standards of client service and professional performance.
- Experience mentoring and delegating work to junior staff.
