Switchboard Operator

We are seeking a skilled Switchboard Operator to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Switchboard Operator, you will be responsible for operating the multi-line phone system and other call systems, providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

• Operate the multi-line phone system and other call systems
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
• Answer and direct calls in a timely and efficient manner
• Manage and maintain accurate records of calls and messages
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless communication

• Grade 12 plus one year's recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Ability to type 45 wpm
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to deal with others effectively
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
