At Untether, we're pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence with our cutting-edge AI accelerators. We're seeking a talented Firmware Engineer to join our team and help us create innovative firmware solutions for our next-generation products.

About the Role

As a Firmware Engineer, you'll work closely with our hardware designers and runtime software team to develop firmware that initializes, manages, and debugs our AI accelerators. You'll be responsible for configuring and controlling hardware blocks such as PCIe, LPDDR, SPI, and Untether-specific modules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-performance, reliable, and multi-threaded firmware for our AI accelerators
  • Collaborate with hardware designers and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of firmware and hardware
  • Develop and maintain low-level code to interact with hardware peripherals
  • Work with real-time executives such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr to ensure efficient and reliable firmware operation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline
  • Strong C/C++ programming and debugging skills
  • Adept in creating high-performance, reliable, multi-threaded programs
  • Experience in team-oriented software development methods, including version control, code review, and architectural planning
  • Experience in writing low-level code to interact with hardware peripherals
  • Experience with real-time executives such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr
