Job Description

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Business Solutions Consultant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the business to identify gaps and requirements in current applications, collaborating with the development team to implement changes effectively.
  • Provide regular updates to the product manager and project team, escalating any issues promptly to ensure smooth project progress.
  • Contribute to product implementation by developing and documenting test cases, performing integration testing, and raising defects as needed.
  • Responsible for creating end-users' stories in JIRA or similar product management software to manage Agile projects efficiently.
  • Promote sustainable DevOps practices, contributing actively to designing best procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintain strong listening and communication skills to work effectively with end-users and project team members.
  • Collaborate with the QAT team to ensure proper test cases are generated for project requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in delivering Technical Products/Business Solutions.
  • Proven track record in conducting business analysis and documenting business requirements for medium to large-size projects.
  • Experience in creating and executing test cases, with a focus on quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (Agile) and Project Management principles.
  • Hands-on experience with creating user stories and boards within JIRA, with a minimum of 3-5 years.
Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

The ideal candidate should thrive in an agile environment, particularly when working on large-scale projects. They should have the ability to generate user stories consistent with agile methodologies, create test cases, and implement them with a QA mindset.

A person who can drive projects in a critical state with tough deadlines and work with different teams. The best candidate must have the ability to push for any deliverable without missing deadlines.

Post-secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related IT field required.
