Carpenter Specialist

Job Summary:
North America Construction Ltd is seeking a skilled Carpenter Journeyperson to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for building, restoring, and installing structural formwork, concrete, wood, and related materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of blueprints and manufacturing specifications.
- Construct chutes, forms, and align form panels for pouring concrete.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and supervise apprentices.
- Lay building foundations and confirm trueness of structures.
- Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment.
- Perform masonry and plaster work, and ensure an adequate supply of materials.
- Set up scaffolding as needed and handle job materials.
- Guide and teach apprentices, and perform other related duties.
Requirements:
- Current Journeyperson's Carpenter's Certificate – Ontario or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience working in heavy construction.
- Knowledge of safe operation of carpentry tools and workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to operate required equipment safely and responsibly.
- Time management skills and ability to read building specifications and blueprints.
