Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team at Shercom Industries Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and tending to machinery used for mixing, calendering, extruding, moulding, and curing rubber materials or rubber products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate machinery to produce high-quality rubber products
  • Monitor product quality and make adjustments as needed
  • Train or assist in the training of other workers
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Load or feed rubber, pigments, filler, oil, and chemicals into machines

Requirements:

  • 5 years or more of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
