About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Team Member to join our team at A&W Martensville. As a key member of our restaurant staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and cook food items to order, following established recipes and presentation standards.
    • Package and serve food to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Cash Handling and Point of Sale
    • Operate a cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
    • Handle customer payments and make change as required.
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all customers receive a positive and memorable dining experience.
    • Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management and Stock Control
    • Receive and store inventory and supplies in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
    • Ensure that all equipment and utensils are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • Will train on the job.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced restaurant environment.
    • Physically demanding, with frequent standing and walking required.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience
    • Electronic cash register experience preferred.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) regularly.
