Job Summary

The City of Fort Saskatchewan is seeking a highly skilled Child-Minding Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our recreation team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality customer service to children, parents, and staff
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for children to play and learn
  • Develop and implement engaging programs and activities for children
  • Collaborate with the Recreation Program Coordinator to ensure program goals and objectives are met
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as reporting and record-keeping
Requirements
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • First Aid/CPR certification
  • Knowledge of child behavior management and risk management awareness
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
