Role Overview
As a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst at Source Energy Services Canada LP, you will play a key role in preparing the company's external financial reporting. This includes quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&A).

About the Job
You will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of the company's financial reports, including IFRS compliance. Additionally, you will assist with IFRS technical research, provide recommendations on significant accounting issues, and prepare accounting memos and other financial materials as required.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with the preparation of the company's quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and MD&A;
  • Providing recommendations on significant accounting issues;
  • Preparing accounting memos and other financial materials as required;
  • Supporting operations accounting teams with accounting treatment for various operational transactions while ensuring CSOX internal controls compliance;
  • Completing balance sheet account reconciliations monthly and making appropriate journal entries on a timely basis;
  • Supporting the organization's treasury function with accounting and journal entries for the cash flow cycle;
  • Assisting with the development of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) audit and reporting, and other corporate filing requirements as needed.


Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
  • An undergraduate degree in business or accounting;
  • A professional accounting designation (CPA);
  • Experience with major accounting software packages for both general ledger and statutory accounting; Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset;
  • Demonstrated or related audit experience in financial and management reporting, including strong problem-solving skills related to the monthly consolidation process;
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
